Susan Brennan’s chapbook, Blue Sirens, is forthcoming from Dancing Girl Press, 2017.  Her poems appear in various publications and her chapbook, numinous, (Finishing Line Press), full length book, Drunken Oasis, (Rattapallax Press).  She curated poetry programming at Wilco’s Solid Sound Music Festival at MASS MoCA, MA 2015.  She also curated poetry programming at MASS MoCA’s Free Day, 2015 and First Night Evanston with the Poetry Foundation, 2016.  She co-produced One Day Home, a forthcoming short film featuring cast members from Orange is the New Black.  She co-wrote the film script for Vegas – Based on a True Story (premiered in competition Venice and Tribeca Film Festivals), and wrote the script for the award winning, million-plus hits web series, Verse, a poetry murder mystery.  As first place winner of the Tribeca/Amex My Movie Pitch Contest, her story was used for the short film, Doggy Bags, created by Edward Burns, (premiered in the Tribeca Film Festival).  She has staged several of her poems with aerialists at Circus Warehouse, the Puppets & Poets Festival, and is currently producing the circus-based performance piece, Chromoluminarism, based on her poem about Georges Seurat’s last days.  She curates The World’s Oldest Ship, a poetry reading featuring poets, musicians and projections at Park Slope Japanese design cafe, Mirror in the Woods.  She received her MFA in Poetry at NYU, is a yoga teacher and lives in Brooklyn.
